WISE Summer Program

Online Summer Learning

The Westminster Interactive Summer Experience (WISE) program offers an exciting array of online courses for Westminster students and high school students from outside Westminster. From an introduction to world history, to literature and algebra, from Spanish and chemistry, to learning computer science, the courses are designed to prepare students for the coming school year as well as stimulate their curiosity and develop study skills which will help them in all their future academic pursuits.

Westminster faculty offer a slate of tutorial-style, non-credit courses. Students engage directly with faculty each day for an hour and receive feedback on their independent work, with an overarching goal of improving their critical reading, writing and verbal skills. In many instances, the courses can provide a preview of the coming year or prepare for a specific standardized test or essay.

Class meetings take place online. The daily online meeting times are flexibile, and the teachers often provide a range of meeting times to help with planning purposes.

Courses will be offered during one two-week session: July 15-26.
